Hi, my name is

Manfredi Gangi
PhD Student @Columbia University

I am an Electrical Engineer working on Battery Management and Power Electronics. In particular, I investigate how data-driven techniques can improve battery diagnostics procedures. Moreover, I also work on non-isolated onboard EV charger.

01. Bio

Hello! My name is Manfredi, an Italian student of Electrical Engineering currently residing in the vibrant city of New York. I am pursuing a PhD at Columbia University, specializing in Power Electronics and Battery Health Diagnostics. Prior to this, I completed my Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering at the University of Catania, followed by a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering at Politecnico di Milano.

While my primary focus is on power electronics, I am also deeply passionate about various energy-related topics, including green mobility and energy storage for urban development. Exploring innovative solutions in these areas is a great source of inspiration for me.

Speaking of my origins, I was born in Catania, a captivating city in Sicily, Italy. Catania is renowned for its magnificent volcano, Mount Etna, delectable cuisine, and breath-taking coastal scenery. During my leisure time, I indulge in a variety of sports such as waterpolo, skiing, and sailing, which keep me active and invigorated.
